Meet Mauricio
Madeira Xperience is the work of one person: Mauricio Vieira, born and raised on the island.
Over a decade of driving the back roads of Madeira - from the laurel forests of Fanal at dawn to the volcanic coast of Seixal at sunset - Mauricio built the five tours that now make up our catalogue: SELVA, ORIGEM, ATLÂNTICO, AURA and ALTUS. Each one is a different face of the same island.
No scripted commentary. No bus-line schedules. Real stories, local food stops, and the roads that mass tourism doesn't see.
Licensed and registered
Madeira Xperience is a licensed tourism operator registered with Turismo de Portugal under RNAAT 52/2026. The fleet (Land Rover Discovery + Nissan Terrano 4x4) is professionally maintained and fully insured.
The fleet
Comfortable 4x4 jeeps, small enough for 4-6 passengers, climate-controlled, with full safety equipment. Every jeep carries the "Where Madeira feels real" tagline - you'll spot us on the road.

Bookings open Monday to Saturday. Children, seniors and groups welcome - just tell us in advance.
